The Dance Ensemble Workshop's (DEW) annual concert will feature SMC dancers, live music, and guest performers! Dance Ensemble Workshop is the Saint Mary's College dance company under the artistic direction of Michele Foust, professor in the Program of Dance. Participation in DEW is required for a Dance Minor, but dancers of all levels are welcome- from beginner through advanced.
Collaborations this year will include the SMC Department of Music's Chamber Music Experience class performing one original work composed by professor Zae Munn, and a second work featuring music in the Renaissance style arranged by Zae Munn. Dance Minor Alumni have also been invited back to perform an original work created in a weekend intensive.
Costume design by Melissa Bialko, and scenic/lighting/production design by Michaela Duffy.
Tickets are not required to attend this event.
